Socios.com, powered by the chiliz fintech platform and $CHZ token, will offer fans the opportunity to buy, trade and execute voting or ‘crowd managers’ rights in their favorite football teams. Connecting 4 billion football fans worldwide with the thousands of different UEFA clubs and professional football teams they root for.

 

The Chiliz Blockchain Campus will house world-leading exchanges, crypto-friendly European banks, leading blockchain media groups, service providers including recruitment services and some of the largest Asian crypto funds in a unique cluster in order to grow the ecosystem locally and globally. 

 

THE ROLE

As part of its continues growth, Chiliz is now seeking to recruit a full-time Receptionist to manage our front desk on a daily basis and to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks, including calls, reservations, travel arrangements and guests services. Reporting to our Financial Controller, you will act as the ‘face’ of the Chiliz Blockchain Campus and ensure visitors receive a heartwarming welcome. 

 

To be successful as a Receptionist, you should have a pleasant personality and a solid customer service approach. You should also be able to deal with emergencies in a timely and effective manner, while streamlining office operations.

 

Ultimately, you should be able to ensure our front desk provides professional and friendly service and support our Office Manager on the day to day run of the office.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office.
  • Direct visitors to the appropriate person and/or meeting room.
  • Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls.
  • Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms, brochures etc.).
  • Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email.
  • Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries.
  • Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk.
  • Order front office supplies and keep inventory of stock.
  • Manage the daily/weekly/monthly agenda and arrange new meetings and appointments.
  • Arrange travel and accommodations.
  • Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing and faxing.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative or similar role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel & Word.
  • Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. fax machines and printers).
  • Professional attitude and appearance.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills. You must be fluent in English and Maltese (any other languages will be considered an asset).
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Customer service approach.
