THE ROLE

The Sports Partner Acquisition Manager role is focused on building successful sports partnerships for Socios.com – making clubs and other sport organizations part of the Socios.com and Chiliz ecosystem. As a member of our Global Partner Acquisition team in Madrid, you will be managing acquisition processes from start to finish including prospecting, pitching, negotiations and onboarding. You will also be working closely with key stakeholders to ensure that the Socios.com platform delivers long-term value for Socios.com and our partners around the world.

 

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Lead partner acquisition processes including prospecting (identifying new potential partners), pitches and negotiations
  • Support the inhouse legal team in contract processes
  • Liaise with internal and external key stakeholders to ensure efficient onboardings of new partners and hand-overs to the Partnership Operations team.
  • Lead contract renewal processes

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of senior account management, partnership sales or other relevant experience ideally in the global sports/sponsorship industry
  • Proven ability to manage multiple processes
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English and one more major language
  • Solid digital understanding
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong team player
  • Degree in Sports Management and/or business/economics
