Due to the continued growth and success of Chiliz &, we’re now looking to recruit an experienced Payments & Fraud Analyst to join our growing team. Reporting to our Payments & Fraud Manager you will be responsible for monitoring all customers transactions to proactively minimise fraud trends through regular analysis of their accounts. If you have an eye for detail, great investigative skill and a desire to learn about new products and an exciting industry, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Monitoring registrations, account activity and transaction records to identify unauthorized transactions and fraudulent accounts with the aim of minimising the financial risk to the business;
  • Observe customer transactions to identify fraudulent activity such as compromised accounts, friendly fraud, theft/identity theft and more;
  • Evaluate fraud risk and take appropriate action by using experience and judgement on potentially fraudulent activity;
  • Determine existing fraud trends by analysing accounts and transaction patterns; 
  • Investigate and resolve issues related to money transfers, including reconciliation of transactions;
  • Generate suspicious activity reports and risk management reports for Managers;
  • Maintain records including Know Your Customer (KYC) and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) documentation;
  • Handling of Chargebacks and Notifications of Fraud from our payment partners; 
  • Assisting 1st line support with Payments & Fraud related contacts; 
  • Review and verify customer documents for authenticity;
  • Assist internal teams with any queries;
  • Any ad hoc request handed down by management;


  • Proven experience within a Payments & Fraud role. 
  • Must be meticulous, a self-starter who takes initiative and must possess good analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Must be fluent in English.
  • Any other languages (Spanish, French, Italian or Turkish) would be considered an asset.
  • Crypto knowledge is not a requirement but desirable. 
  • Available to work evenings and weekends.
