Chiliz.net is a first-of-its-kind mobile and desktop crypto exchange for sports & entertainment products. 

 

THE ROLE

Following the rapid growth of Chiliz Korea, we are now looking to recruit a Partnerships & Business Development Manager/Senior Manager Korea & Japan to join our team. With solid experience in partnerships and business development, you will be responsible for extending our reach through the discovery and exploration of new and untapped business opportunities and relationships in the Korean & Japanese markets. Reporting to Chiliz Korea's Managing Director you will ultimately be responsible for growing the Chiliz ecosystem in both markets for our brands Chiliz ($CHZ) and Socios.com.

 

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Identify potential partners, close partnerships and business development deals including big corporations, sports, esports teams etc., for the Japanese and Korean markets.
  • Build and maintain relationships with existing & newly developed partners.
  • Accurately analyze client and market data, anticipate potential client needs, and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Work with Partners to develop new business partners through a combination of marketing events, campaigns and other value-adding activities.
  • Follow and execute the guidelines & requests from the headquarters (Malta office).

 

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in partnerships or business development or similar in any of the following industries: sports, esports, entertainment, and IT.
  • Experience and high understanding of both the Japanese & Korean markets.
  • Native fluency in both Korean and Japanese. Business-level fluency in English.
  • Self-starter, who can work autonomously but also a real team player.
  • Strong interest in startup culture and a willingness to work proactively in a fast-paced environment.
  • The position is based either in Seoul, Korea or Tokyo, Japan. Willingness & ability to travel locally and internationally.
  • Resumé in English is necessary to complete the application. 

 

Preferred Requirements

  • Experience or established network in 1 or more industries among sports, esports, entertainment, and IT.
  • Strategic thinker and results-driven.
  • Passion for learning new technologies, especially cryptocurrency and blockchain is a strong plus.
  • A creative person who likes to experiment, thinks out-of-the-box and doesn't play by the rules. 
  • Microsoft Office expert.
